This 2-bedroomed Suite fits into our highest luxury African safari camp level offering, the Great Plains Conservation Réserve-Collection of camps.
The Suite offers guests a private, intimate stay with incredible views of the conservancy and all of the wildlife that inhabits it.
Leading off the private decking, a private swimming pool is available for you to enjoy during the warm afternoons. The sweeping canvas roof shaded by the large trees offers the perfect setting to relax and connect with nature.
When residing at The Jahazi Suite at Mara Plains, guests automatically enjoy the services of a private butler, safari drive vehicle and wildlife guide.The Suite also includes the complimentary use of high-quality binoculars, professional camera bodies, and lenses during your stay. The private Olare Motorogi Conservancy, where Mara Plains Camp is located, is known to have the lowest vehicle density in Kenya’s Maasai Mara region while also having the highest concentration of big cats anywhere in Africa.
Mara Plains Camp is a sanctuary for resident wildlife species, including many of the Maasai Mara’s 300 bird species.
After dark, larger mammals frequent the camp, and Maasai warriors escort guests to and from their rooms. Hippos snorting and leopards barking often provide the night’s chorus.
Mara Plains Camp showcases Africa’s magnificent wildlife. We believe in keeping the safari experience intimate and personal, so there is no set camp schedule or mealtimes.
