Sirikoi will be closed from 15th April to 15th May and for the entire month of November due to the rainy seasons.

CHILD POLICY

Sirikoi welcomes children aged 6 years and older.

  1. Child rate applies to children ages 6 -15 years.
  2. Children 12 years and younger must share a tent with an adult and cannot stay in a tent on their own.
  3. For children of the allowed age staying in their own tent, the single room rate will apply.
  4. For children of the allowed age sharing a twin or triple tent:
  5. The adult sharing rate will apply to the first child.
  6. The child sharing rate will apply to the second and third child.
  7. In the case of one adult sharing a twin or triple tent with a child or children, the per adult sharing rate will apply, along with the per-child rate for each child.
  8. Parents are responsible for the supervision and care of their children at all times.

INCLUDED

  3. Local airstrip transfers (Lewa Downs Airstrip)
  4. Guided morning and evening game drives

  1. Conservation fees US$ 183 per person per night and US$ 92 per child per night (6 -15 years)
  2. Champagne, premium spirits and cellar wines
  3. Any additional payable activities or extras
  4. Gratuities and anything of a personal nature

Extras

  1. Guide/pilot accommodation US$ 200 per person per night (max. 1 guide for up to 6 clients)
  2. Late departure without room US$ 215 per person (subject to availability) (includes lunch and activities)
  3. Late departure with room Charged at the per night rate (guaranteed room for the day)

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By confirming a booking, you are entering into a contract with Sirikoi Ltd and thereby agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

TO CONFIRM A BOOKING

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of written instructions/ booking voucher and payment of a 20% NONREFUNDABLE deposit. The full Balance payment is due 60 days prior to guests’ arrival. On receipt of full payment, a final Reservation Summary/ check in voucher will be issued.

Please ensure that the written bookings instructions contain the following information:

  1. Accommodation type (Luxury Tents, Sirikoi Couage, Sirikoi House).
  2. Date, time, and method of arrival and departure to and from Sirikoi
  3. Names, ages, of all guests in the group & rooming requirements (doubles, singles, triples)
  4. Any special dietary requirements.
  5. Flying doctor’s evacuation insurance details

REFUNDS

Sirikoi Ltd has the right at any time and at their discretion to cancel or make alterations to any accommodation or excursion that poses a risk due to weather, political unrest, or any other cause. Any extra expense arising out of the cancellation or alteration of accommodation or excursion will fall to the guests and/or their agents.

AGENT WARRANTIES

  1. The agent warrants that they have the capacity and authority to make the booking on the guests’ behalf and will accept full responsibility, whether financial or otherwise, for all the bookings made by them on the guests’ behalf.
  2. The agent warrants that all the information that they have provided about themselves or on behalf of their guests is true and accurate.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations will only be effective on receipt by us of written notification. In respect to cancellation, reduction of rooms, reduction of nights, or postponements:

  1. From confirmation to 90 days prior to arrival: 20% of the total value of the booking will be forfeited.
  2. Between 89 and 46 days prior to arrival: 80% of the total value of the booking will be forfeited/charged as cancellation fees.
  3. Between 45 days and arrival/no-shows: 100% of the total value of the booking will be forfeited/charged as cancellation fees.
  4. No refunds or credits will be provided for Gight cancellations or early departures from the lodge.

LEWA MARATHON

A few days before the Lewa Marathon (normally the last weekend of June), Lewa is very busy and game viewing can be disrupted in some areas. For visitors not taking part in the marathon it is not an ideal weekend to visit.

PRIVACY POLICY

We do not disclose or sell your personal information to others for use in their mailing lists or databases. We use your personal information internally and share it with other people or organisations who need to know it as part of working with us in our normal business activities. We may need to share your personal information with a few trusted parties, with or without obtaining your consent, that help us provide our services. These include:

Our Lodge, Law enforcement agencies or governmental organisations where disclosures are required by applicable law, Banks and payment gateway service providers, Any successors to our business.

The use of any personal information provided by you to, or automatically collected from, a third party will be governed by that party’s privacy policy. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from third parties unauthorised to access this information.

PRICE VARIATIONS

In the event of increase in taxes, training levy or service charges, Sirikoi Ltd reserves the right to adjust all rates accordingly from the date of such change and without prior notice.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is from 11:00 AM on the day of arrival and check-out time is at 10:00AM on the day of departure

TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE

  1. All guests are required to have comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal baggage, and money.
  2. It is required that all guests have a temporary Flying Doctors Membership (air evacuation in medical emergencies). Please see www.Gydoc.org for more info and to sign up.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

It is agreed that there are certain risks associated with a visit to Sirikoi Lodge and Lewa Wildlife Conservancy including risks associated with being near wild and unpredictable animals, unpredictable weather, and rough terrain. Therefore, this visit to Sirikoi Lodge and the Conservancy is entirely at guests’ volition and risk. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever to personal property, or any claims or demands from guests on account of injury, illness or death to persons visiting the property.

FORCE MAJORE

If acts of God or government authorities, natural disasters, or other emergencies beyond a party’s reasonable control make it illegal or impossible for such party to perform its obligations under this Contract, such party may terminate this Contract upon written notice to the other party without liability.

DISPUTES

All concerns must be brought to the attention of Sirikoi Ltd. prior to the client’s departure in order to finalise the issues on the ground at the time. Should this not be possible then they are to be followed up in writing no later than 14 days ater departure where the Kenyan legal system will be adhered to exclusively
