Encounter Mara Camp is in the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, southwest Kenya, adjacent to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
This area provides a superior wildlife viewing experience, particularly for lion, but also for zebra, giraffe, elephant and buffalo. Even during the peak months of the Great Migration in the neighbouring Masai Mara Reserve, the Naboisho Conservancy continues to challenge the quality of the game viewing experience with its staggering wildlife density and unrivalled exclusivity. Safari guides adhere to a strict code of conduct within the conservancy, ensuring a greatly enhanced experience that values and respects both wildlife and the local people.

A Day in the Life at Encounter Mara
Start your day with an early wake-up call and tea or coffee before embarking on a morning game drive. Return for a hearty lunch, followed by a leisurely siesta. Long Stay Rates:
- Green Season ;Stay 5 nights or more on full rate, and all nights will be on Silver
- Low Season:Stay 5 nights or more on full rate, and all nights will be on Silver
- High Season:Stay 5 nights or more on full rate, and all nights will be on Bronze
NOTE: In order to qualify for the long stay rate, at least 5 Asilia nights within the itinerary must be at full price (excluding DD nights)
Child rates
- Children below 5 years are not allowed unless the camp is booked exclusively
- Child 5-18 50 % of adult rate
- Children below 12 should always share a room with an adult
- Child 19 years and older full adult rate
Rates include: Full board accommodation, conservancy bednight fee, all house drinks (except champagne), game drives, night drives, transfers to/from nearest airstrip and to/from Encounter Mara, limited laundry service
