Day 1: Arrival at Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp
Morning:
- Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi
- Transfer to Wilson Airport and take a light aircraft flight to Olare Orok airstrip
- Meet and greet by Mahali Mzuri staff
- Enjoy a scenic drive to the camp with a mini game-viewing session en route
Afternoon:
- Welcome drink and orientation session upon arrival at the camp
- Savour a gourmet lunch with a view of the Mara plains
- Settle into your luxurious tent and relax on your private deck, taking in the stunning views
Evening:
- Head out for an evening game drive to witness the wildlife at dusk
- Sundowner cocktails in the wilderness, followed by a spotlight night drive searching for nocturnal animals
- Dinner served under the stars (weather permitting)
Day 2: Full-Day Safari Experience
Morning:
- Awake early for a sunrise game drive, the perfect time to spot predators in action
- Return to camp for a hearty breakfast
- Optional: Visit a local Maasai village to learn about Maasai traditions and culture
Midday:
- A leisurely lunch back at Mahali Mzuri
- Free time for relaxation or enjoy the camp’s facilities, such as the infinity pool or a spa treatment
Afternoon:
- Embark on an afternoon game drive with opportunities to see the Big Five
- Stop for a traditional safari tea in the bush
Evening:
- After the excitement of the game drive, relax with pre-dinner drinks by the campfire
- A sumptuous dinner featuring local and international cuisine
- Share stories of the day’s adventures with fellow guests
Day 3: Adventure and Relaxation
Morning:
- Optional morning activity, such as a guided walking safari for an up-close encounter with the flora and fauna
- Breakfast amidst the peaceful sounds of nature
Afternoon:
- Indulge in a multi-course lunch while observing the wildlife at the nearby watering hole
- Spend the afternoon at your own pace; photography, bird watching or a nap on your deck
Evening:
- Another thrilling evening game drive to catch sight of animals you may have missed previously
- Enjoy a bush dinner in a surprise location, surrounded by the sounds of the wild
Day 4: Fond Farewells and Departure
Morning:
- Relish a final morning game drive or simply take in the sunrise over the savannah from the comfort of your tent
- Enjoy breakfast with your fellow travelers and exchange contacts
Midday:
- Check-out and bid goodbye to the Mahali Mzuri team
- Transfer to Olare Orok airstrip for your flight back to Wilson Airport
- Arrival at Wilson Airport and transfer arranged to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey
Afternoon:
- Reflect on the memories made during your time at Mahali Mzuri as your journey home begins
