Naibor Camp overview & Location

Designed as a space away from the hurly-burly of modern life, where the hustle and bustle is provided only by the wild animals, Naibor Camp is hidden in a grove of riverine woodland on the banks of the Talek River.

Located just minutes from one of the world-famous wildebeest crossing sites, the environment teems with wildlife, flora, and fauna. The luxury tented accommodation is defined by contemporary style and discrete elegance. A tented safari par excellence, the camp is thoughtfully and tastefully designed, allowing all comforts to be met while allowing complete immersion in the splendor of the natural world outside.

Accommodation

Sweeping pale canvas tents, with en-suite bathrooms, king-sized beds made from local fig-wood, wide sofas furnished with bolster cushions, and wool rugs – all bring “camping” into a new dimension and form an outstanding base from which to embark on unforgettable explorations of the famed Masai Mara.

Main Naibor Double Tent1

The five double and two twin bedded guest tents have been designed in pale khaki canvas and high ceilings to allow you to immerse in the surroundings fully.

Each en-suite bathroom has a vanity unit with brass basin and tap, hot safari shower with Cinnabar Green amenities and a flush toilet.

On particularly restful days, you can ask the Askari to light your personal firepit and unwind by the fire in front of your tent with a refreshing drink in hand. For a romantic evening, private dining on the veranda outside your tent is available upon pre-arranged request.

On the veranda you will find a dining table for private dining and chaise lounges perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon reading a book. Just below the veranda, right on the river, is a seating area around your own private firepit.

The tents are nestled amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are crafted from pale khaki canvas with high ceilings, offering a sense of space, comfort, and airy openness that invites in the natural breeze.

As a separate camp from Main Naibor, there is a dedicated team of staff to tend to your every need. The private mess tent at Naibor Wilderness was newly constructed in late 2024, offering a fresh and inviting space for guests. It has been furnished in a modern Swahili style with a dedicated bar area, comfy sofas and vintage Kilim rugs. The Dhow wood dining table is the perfect place to enjoy a candle-lit dinner. There is also seating on the riverfront veranda of the mess tent and a fire pit just below to enjoy an evening gin and tonic whilst discussing the day’s sightings.
