Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara: GOVERNORS’ IL MORAN CAMP
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative will escort you to Wilson Airport for your Governors’ Aviation flight to Masai Mara. Enjoy a brief 45-minute scenic flight across the Great Rift Valley. From the airstrip, it’s a short game drive to Governors’ Il Moran Camp, where a welcoming lunch awaits on the deck overlooking the Mara River. Start your adventure with an afternoon game drive around 3:30 PM, returning at dusk for sundowner drinks and dinner. Nights are spent in luxury, listening to the sounds of the wild.
Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve: Governors’ Il Moran Camp
Awake each morning to the beauty of the Mara and embark on three optional daily game drives. Choose from additional activities like Masai village cultural visits, walking safaris, or involvement in community conservation initiatives. For a unique experience, opt for a sunrise hot air balloon flight over the plains, which concludes with a champagne bush breakfast (available at additional cost).
Day 4-6: Masai Mara Game Reserve: Cottar’s 1920s Camp
Transition to Cottar’s 1920s Camp after your morning game drive and breakfast at Il Moran. Explore the private 7,600-acre conservancy with both day and night game drives, guided bush walks, and cultural engagement with the Maasai people. Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Conclude your safari with an early morning game drive on your departure day. After breakfast, you’ll head to Keekorok airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
