Itinerary:
We will collect you from your hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International airport and transfer you to the domestic , Wilson airport for your 09.15am flight *. You will be brought to the airport 1 hour prior to the flight. Board your flight to Samburu Reserve, north of Mount Kenya flying time approx 1.5 hrs:
Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight Lodge by the Lodge’s Driver guide in a 4×4 safari vehicle.
The Lodge is one of the long established lodges here, with an enviable location, right besides the Ewaso Ngiro River.
Check into your luxury room and some leisure time before a delicious lunch in the lodge’s dining area. In case you’d like a brief siesta, now is the time, just after lunch. Proceed for a Safari Gamedrive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Samburu and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the lodge).
Return to the lodge by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for dinner.

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Samburu’s wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active.
Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool and also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks { some optional activities are a extra cost }.
After the sumptuous lunch, take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the Lodge by evening [ typically 6pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner.

Following breakfast, there will be a game drive en route to the airstrip for the scheduled flight back to Nairobi or to your onward to another desalination of your choice like Masai Mara

Safari Overview.
This 3 days Flying Samburu Safari is ideal for travelers intending on visiting Samburu Game Reserve while wanting to avoid the 6 to 7 hours road trip from Nairobi. Instead we offer a flight package Safari that takes 1.5 hours from Wilson airport in Nairobi to Samburu.
The flight is on a light aircraft ranging in seating from 15 to 40 passengers depending on the airline booked and passenger loads. Upon arrival in Samburu a Driver/Guide and vehicle will be waiting to receive you to start your Samburu Safari.
Passenger baggage on board these domestic flight is limited to 15 kilos per passenger. These fly – in Safaris in Kenya are usually conducted as group tours meaning your Safari vehicle will not be on private basis unless you specially request for an exclusive vehicle at extra cost.
