A Journey Through Tranquility: Baggage restriction of 15kgs is applicable on all flights preferably in small bags From the 1st April – 30th June and 1st November – 15th December the Safari Link scheduled service doesn’t operate from Nairobi – Loisaba – Masai Mara. Therefore a supplement will be applicable for a charter flight on these legs. Included in your safari are: 1. Full board accommodation 2. Soft drinks, Beer & House Wine Conservation / Park fees 3. Journey Through Tranquility Loisaba – Saruni Mara – Kinondo Kwetu Laikipia –Masai Mara – Galu Beach 10 day flying Safari
Day 1- Loisaba Lodge-Laikipia: On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a Beyond Kenya safarisrepresentative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport. Here you will connect with the 10h20 Safari link flight to Loisaba. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the lodge. Accommodation has been booked for 3 nights on Full board basis inclusive of soft drinks, beer and House wine.
Loisaba Lodge is located in northern Laikipia on 120,000 acres of its own private game ranch. It has seven rooms each with its own private deck overlooking outstanding views of Laikipia. The lodge has a beautiful main dining and sitting area. Guests are welcome to play tennis, croquet and boules, they can use the spa and massage facilities. Other activities include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, horse riding, camel trekking and mountain biking, cultural visits, bush meals and sundowners, river rafting and river fishing (seasonal). Helicopter excursions and Quad biking are included at an extra cost.
Day 4 – Masai Mara, Saruni Mara
At 09h05, you will take to the air on Safari link scheduled flight to the Masai Mara arriving at 11h00. The Masai Mara offers a true wildlife experience, one that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. Your driver-guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to camp with game viewing en-route. Accommodation has been booked for 3 nights on Full board basis inclusive of soft drinks, beer and House wine.
Saruni is a deluxe and intimate lodge set in a private conservation area. Nestled into the hills of northern Mara, overlooking a gorge populated by elephant and buffalo. Saruni has the wide open game plains to the south and forest to the north. There are six spectacular cottages all furnished with colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art. The atmosphere of the camp is informal but elegant. The camp offers its own private spa treatment centre, the ‘Masai Well-being space’. Activities include day and night game drives, bush meals and sundowners, cultural visits and bush walks led by highly qualified Masai guides.
Day 7 – Galu Beach, Kinondo Kwetu
After lunch, you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your Mombasa Air scheduled After lunch, you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your Mombasa Air scheduled flight to Ukunda, departing at 14h00 and arriving at 16h00. On arrival you will be met by a Kinondo Kwetu representative and transferred to the lodge.
Accommodation has been booked for 3 nights on Full board basis inclusive of soft drinks, beer and House wine. Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all – inclusive luxury resort owned and operated by a Swedish family. A quite beach far from the madding crowd. Kenyan coast is sunny and hot, but daily breeze off the Indian Ocean gives Kinondo Kwetu an ideal vacation climate from August to May. The warm Indian Ocean greets you with friendly Dolphins and Humpback Whales. Sea Turtles come up and lay eggs on our beach, and the great whale shark likes to mate outside the barrier reef. Ashore, rare Colobus monkey and exotic birds have made Kinondo Kwetu their home, too.
Day 10 – Depart This morning you will catch the 10h55 Air Kenya flight back to Nairobi. A Beyond Kenya safaris representative will meet and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for your journey home
