The endless plains of East Africa are the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle where, from the vast Serengeti plains to the champagne colored hills of Kenya’s Maasai Mara, over 1.4 million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra and gazelle, relentlessly tracked by Africa’s great predators, migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year in search of rain ripened grass.

Mara Sarova Lodge is well positioned to enjoy this unique phenomenon. The rolling plains around sarova mara Camp are teeming with wildebeest, gazelles and zebras, during the migration months and the Camp is situated right in the center of their migration path.
Mara Sarova Lodge is also the ideal choice for those seeking a richer experience of Maasai Mara that goes much beyond just game drives. By virtue of its location and layout, the Camp offers an unparalleled plethora of activities and experiences from luxury tented living to bird-watching, mini golf, sport fishing and a unique insight into the Maasai culture at the adjoining Maasai village.
Sarova mara Camp boasts of 20 Club Tents, 51 Standard Tents, 2 Family Tents, a Main Resturant, Bar and many bush dining options. The free form swimming pool has its own pool bar. The Camp has its own fleet of well equipped safari vehicles with excellent guides. There are meeting rooms and numerous outdoor venues for dining and leisure. The entire Camp is surrounded by a 24 hour electric fence.
The climate is very pleasant with clear warm days and cool nights. Temperatures average from 26ْ C during the day to 10ْ C at night. There are sporadic rains in March, April, November & December.
All tents at Mara Sarova Lodge are equipped with ensuite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, running hot & cold water and 240V power.
Mara Sarova Lodge excels in the freshness and quality of its food which is supported by the Camp’s own vegetable and herb garden.The Isokon Restaurant is the Main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters preparing specialty dishes. Mara Sarova Child Policy
Children are welcome at Mara Sarova Lodge. However, parental supervision at all times is a must for younger children below 5 years as the layout of the camp is very natural with small water bodies and natural landscaping.

For older children, there are a number of activities such as swimming, walking safaris within the secure premises, a visit to the cultural village, sport fishing and board games. We have specially trained staff who escort the children and facilitate activities for children. There are special menus for children and baby sitting or child minding services are available on request.
