Kicheche Mara Camp
Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees in a prime wildlife area of Aitong Plains in the northern Koiyaki Lemek region of the famous Masai Mara. This eleven tent camp attempts to provide an atmosphere similar to that of a high quality tented camp but at a much lower price.Kicheche Mara camp is fully hosted and limited to twenty two guests. Game viewing at Kicheche starts right from the camp itself. Accommodation at Kicheche Mara Camp in Masai Mara Kenya Kicheche Mara camp prides itself as offering a friendly and relaxing stay, with our hosts treating you as welcome guests, not mere travel statistics. To maintain this intimate and relaxed atmosphere there is a maximum of twenty two guests at any time. Each tent here at Kicheche is comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet, low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends. Triple and Quad tents (1 double & 2 single beds) are also available. The spacious Nyati tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.

Kicheche Mara Camp Daily Schedules in Masai Mara and Koiyaki Lemek group ranch Rigid daily schedules are not on our agenda, there are no hard and fast rules at Kicheche so guests can decide on the duration and frequency of their drives. Picnic breakfasts, lunches and sundowners are popular options to include on game drives.

Kicheche Mara Camp. Resident Rates in KSH(1Jan-31 Dec 2010 Seasons: Package Rates include: 1. Airstrip transfers; 2. full board accommodation; 3. drinks (excluding champagne); 4. unlimited game-viewing drives, 5. bush walks and laundry.
Non Package rates for resident includes 1. Full board accommodation,drinks and laundry and Excludes:game drives. Vehicle is charged Ksh 1000 per night. Child Policy Young adults 12-17 years: Accommodation is chargeable at adult rates however Mara Conservancy Fees are at 50% (use adult rates for Laikipia) Children 3 - 11 years: 50% of adult rate for accommodation and Conservancy Fees (except Laikipia Conservancy Fees US$42) Infants under 3 : Free of Charge, however, please note that the camp is not conducive to infants and no baby equipment such as cots and high chairs are provided.
Notes: 1. Conservancy Fees: In the Mara our Conservancy Fees cover a visit to the National Reserve section once in every 3 night stay. Whether we visit the Reserve or not will depend upon local conditions however there will be no extra charges. Additional visits to the Reserve are chargeable at the prevailing rate. Please note that our camps are in exceptional wildlife areas and there is no need to visit the reserve to view cheetah, lion, leopard, elephant, etc. 2. Sole-use of vehicle is available at US$241 per vehicle per day. 3. Fly-camping - from Bush Camp only - Single night fly-camping supplement: US$80 pp (min 2 pax) 4. Late Departures: Guests departing in the afternoon will not be charged for an extra lunch however they will be required to vacate their tent by 10am on the day of departure.
