Hermingways Safari ITINERARY
INCLUDES: 1. 1 night on bed and breakfast accommodation at the Karen Blixen House Cottage 2. 7

refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night's accommodation will be required to secure your booking.
4. Where rates are affected by changes
in Government taxes, we reserve the right to pass on such increases. CHILD POLICY 1. Child under 2 years sharing a room
with 1-2 adults is accommodated on a complimentary basis. 2.
Child 2 to 12 years of age sharing a room with 2 adults is charged 50% of the per person adult rate. 3.
Charges for children between 2-12 years of age is charged 75% of the adult rate. 4.
Young adult 13 to 17 years of age is charged 75% of the per person adult rate whether sharing or on their own. Easter and Chrismas Surcharge

A Kenya Safari Hemingway safari The ultimate in Safari luxury,

The bush cuisine served on these safaris is delicious and innovatively

DAY 1 - Arrive Nairobi Upon your arrival at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta
international airport, met and transferred to Karen
Blixen Cottages. Dinner not included in the safari programme at the Hotel. Karen
Blixen Cottages.
DAY 2 - Nairobi to Amboseli Early morning wake up call, followed by room service tea/coffee’s at the Karen
Blixen Cottages. 06h45 depart for Nairobi Wilson Airport to connect the scheduled flight for Amboseli airstrip
to depart at 07h30 to arrive at 08h15. Met on arrival and transferred to Tortilis Camp for breakfast and check in. Then continue
on morning game viewing drives in the Amboseli. Lunch at the lodge, followed by afternoon game viewing drives. Dinner and
Overnight at the Tortilis Camp DAY 3 – Tortilis Camp-Amboseli Breakfast at the Tortilis Camp. Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park. Lunch
at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drive filled with excitement and comfort. Don’t
be surprised to find elephants dining on plants or variety of wildlife drinking water at the lodge-floodlit waterhole. From
the smallest to the largest mammals, you will find them in this National Park. This evening a bush barbecue dinner will be
organized for you excluding beverages but including Masai tribal dancers. Overnight at the Tortilis . DAY 4 - Amboseli to Nairobi to Samburu Breakfast
at the Tortilis Camp. 08h30 depart on the scheduled flight from Amboseli airstrip to Nairobi Wilson Airport to arrive at 09h15
depart on Airkenya scheduled flight from Nairobi for Samburu to arrive at 10h30. Met on arrival and continue on morning game
viewing in the Samburu Game Reserve – the Kenya’s rugged, semi-arid of the Northern Eastern Province. Lunch at
the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drives in the game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the
Sasaab Camp. DAY 5 - Samburu Breakfast
at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. After breakfast morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the Samburu game reserve.
The surrounding terrain is renowned for rare game, long necked gerrunuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the
Beisa Oryx. Leopard is the frequent passer-by. Game drives and bird watching safaris are the ideal way to experience the native
wildlife in its natural splendor. Meals and Overnight at the Sasaab Camp. DAY 6 - Samburu to Masai Mara Breakfast
at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge. 09h15 depart from the Samburu Airstrip on the scheduled flight for Mara Serena to arrive
at 10h45. Met on arrival and continue on morning game viewing drives in the Masai Mara game reserve. Lunch at the Mara Serena
Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon game viewing drives in the Masai Mara game reserve. Dinner and Overnight at the Richards Camp. DAY 7 - Masai Mara A full
day at the Masai Mara game reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra
wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of
wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Lunch,
dinner and Overnight at the Richards Camp DAY 8 - Masai Mara/Nairobi/Depart
