Elephant Pepper Camp: Masai Mara-Kenya
Tucked away in the shade of a natural forest overlooking the Mara plains in the Koiyaki Community
Ranch is Elephant Pepper Camp Mara (originally Mara Bush Camp) a seasonal camp, which is taken down for a month or so in the
rainy seasons.
Recently refurbished and
designed to attract and introduce people to an authentic Masai Mara wildlife Safari Experience, Elephant Pepper Camp now offers
a unique, comfortable environment with no permanent structures, no generator, no traffic, just the sights and sounds of the
African bush. Animals are able to roam freely through the camp, making the night time guard escort especially reassuring.
The true bush experience of walking and unwinding around the glowing embers of a campfire all add to the authenticity of a
true bush experience.
Creative comforts are not
sacrificed either at Elephant Pepper with en-suite dressing rooms, safari showers filled with hot water on request and flush
toilets. Each of the eight tents at Elephant Pepper provides spectacular views across the plains, meaning guests can
look on in awe as the annual wildebeest migration thunders past seeking new grazing in the lush savannahs of the Masai Mara.
Elephant Pepper Camp being situated just out of the National
Reserve ensures the camp can provide a more flexible range of game viewing including night game drives in open-sided
vehicles, guided bush walks which explore easily ignored and less obvious wildlife flora and fauna. Guests are assigned a
personal guide for the duration of their stay providing a personal service. Also available are bush breakfasts and sundowners,
which invariably provide you with spectacular backdrops to your drinks and meals. Dawn balloon safari can easily be arranged
on request
