Day 1/Nairobi, Kenya Arrive Nairobi and spend a night at Nairobi Serena Hotel Day 2-3: Nairobi/Samburu Game Reserve Fly to the Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya's Northern Frontier District, arriving in time for lunch and a late-afternoon game drive. Spend two days exploring the semi-arid Samburu. On morning and afternoon game drives, search for the famous "special five" (reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the graceful, long necked gerenuk), found only north of the equator. With luck, you may spot the elusive leopard stalking the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River.  Larsen's Camp B L D Days 4-5: Samburu/Masai Mara Game Reserve Fly to the Masai Mara to your luxury permanent tented camp on the banks of the Mara River. The Mara contains Kenya's richest concentrations of wildlife, supplemented for several months of the year by the large herds. On game drives in the heart of this classic grassland savannah, view migrating herbivores and their predators: lion, cheetah and leopard.
