Day 1- House of Waine:Nairobi,
On arrival
into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a Beyond Kenya Safaris representative who will transfer
you to the House of Waine. Accommodation is booked for 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis. House of Waine
is an 11- bedroomed boutique hotel in Karen, a suburb of Nairobi, renowned for fine décor and its quiet location.
The rooms have a television, mini bar, room safe, coffee & tea making facilities with fresh milk and homemade pastries
delivered daily. Each bedroom has a large marble bathroom with a shower and bath, and a hairdryer. Within the
surrounding gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is closely located to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park
and Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Day 2 - Elsa’s
Kopje:Meru National
Park,
You will be
collected at 08h00 from House of Waine and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch the Air Kenya scheduled flight which departs
at 09h15. On arrival into Meru you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Elsa’s Kopje. Accommodation
is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis. Elsa’s Kopje has 8 elegant open-plan 'rooms-with-a-view'
plus a three tier Honeymoon Suite, and a Private House with a double and a twin room, a shared sitting room, verandah and
a private swimming pool. All rooms are uniquely designed incorporating natural features of the rocky hillside. There is an
open bar, sitting and dining room with an infinity pool. Activities include day & night game drives, guided bush
walks, bush meals, cultural visits, sundowners, fishing and massage. This untamed wilderness is renowned for its rhino sightings
and rare northern species.
Day 5 –
Joy’s
Camp:Shaba National
Reserve,
Depart Elsa’s
Kopje at 10h00 on your private charter aircraft to Shaba to arrive at 10h30. On arrival at the Chaffa airstrip, your
driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to camp. Joy’s Camp has 10 chic canvas bedrooms raised off the ground with
breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and overlooking a large natural spring. Each sumptuous tent is uniquely decorated
with Boran/Somali cloth, handmade glass and vibrant fabrics of the local tribes creating a chic, sophisticated camp. Activities
include game drives, bush meals on the Ewaso Nyiro river, cultural visits and sundowners. The camp is ideal for private game
viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba.
Day 7 – Richard's
Camp:Masai Mara,
After breakfast
you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Safari Link scheduled flight to the Masai Mara departing at 09h10. You
will be met at Ngerende Airstrip and transferred to Richards Camp. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board
basis. Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp in true African safari style with a few modern surprises. Located
in a conservation area NW of the Masai Mara, all seven, en-suite tents have either twin or double beds with triple rooms available
for families. The solar system provides power and 24-hour light to all the tents. At the end of the day, guests can indulge
in an open-air Victorian bath tucked away in the forest, surrounded by flickering candles and the sounds of the bush. Activities
include day and night game drives, bush walks, bush meals, sundowners and cultural visitors
Day 10 – Depart
After a last game drive in the
Masai Mara, catch the 11h00 Safarilink scheduled flight back to Nairobi. A Cheli & Peacock representative will meet and
transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for your journey home. End of arrangements with Beyond
